Why You Should Make The Most From Uni
University is an amazing experience and don't even deny that. Sadly, our time at uni will come to an end and whether we like it or not, we'll be graduating and moving back to our boring towns. This is deep to think about (I know) but do you really want to graduate and regret not doing certain things? No? I didn't think so either.
So i'll be providing you with reasons on why YOU should make the most out of your university experience. Carry on reading to find out how you can enjoy uni without all the stress thats taking over your life!
Time flies!
Time is precious at uni because you have three years to whack out your entire degree with each academic year consisting of roughly 6 months (before revision period). Think about it, in first year you are finding your feet and before you know it, BHAM its second year. This is where things become a little more serious. After finding your 'squad' in second year, BHAM its final year. In final year you'll live at the library and then BHAM you're graduating. This is why its SO important to make the most of your three (or four) years at uni because it goes way too quick!
You are FREE
Moving out to uni has definitely been the best thing i've done in my life. You are basically free to do whatever it is you want to do! If you want to go to a party then GO, if you want to invite your friends round then DO IT, if you want to be part of a society then BE IT. Nothing is stopping you people!
Eat whatever you want
Hello! This has probably got to be the best thing. You've had enough of eating the same food from time and time again at home. But when you're at uni you can eat whatever you want, whenever you want. Do you want Dominos? Yes? Then you'll order it without having to worry about what your mum will say. Cook a meal to win back her love!
No curfew
The best thing is going on a night out and knowing that you don't have to be home by a certain time. I take full advantage of this trust me guys. The other day I got in at 3am and it felt GREAT. You can go out and stay out until however long you want! How epic right?
Making memories
Sorry I had to get a little deep again but you're uni life isn't going to last forever (how emotional). Try out new things, step out of your comfort zone and LIVE. Spend time with your friends who are exactly like you and do crazy things! After all, you'll be leaving with nothing but memories and you want to look back and regret nothing.
Going wild at parties
Who said Freshers was only for first years huh? Nope. The best thing about uni has got to be the nights out. You're best experiences will most likely be at uni and partying with all your friends makes it that even more entertaining!
So what if they're completely insane? YOLO.
Going on spontaneous trips
Am I the only person who randomly goes to the cinema at 1 in the morning? Honestly living away from home is great because if you feel like going out at 4am then you can GO. Do you want to explore a city you have never visited before on your day off at uni? Yes? Then you'll definitely go. Having those random trips is just fun you know?
